Personal Background - I live in Atlantic Canada with my lovely wife Mary Ann (an RN). We have two great sons, Stephen and Graham, in Toronto - both are university graduates - and two beautiful daughters-in-law, Stephanie (an Engineer and MBA) and Yuko (an RN like Mary Ann). We are very proud of them, and feel truly blessed.

Biz / Professional Background - As a Financial Advisor and Business Consultant, I've had a private practice for over 20 years. My specialty has been in counseling Health Care Professionals, Business Professionals and Home Biz Associates throughout North America and beyond. I have witnessed the frustration, discouragement and pain that many of my clients and associates go through - with uncertainty and high stress in their jobs, businesses and professions.

Confession - Please know that - when it comes to the Home Business industry - we too, have experienced all of the frustrations, stresses and discouragements that you probably have [had] - especially when it came to us utilizing the advantages of the Super Highway INTERNET with MLM to finally propel our businesses forward. We were absolutely no different - we had to study - learn -understand and implement much of the new language (WEB-02 / Social Networking / Internet Marketing / Affiliate Marketing, etc) - and we're 'still' learning.
Yes, even though my wife, Mary Ann, and I have both been very successful in our careers - mine, with a private Consulting Practice - hers as a Registered Nurse [both = linear income] - when it came to our Home Businesses, it was a totally different ballgame for us. The success factors in one profession are not necessarily 'transferable' to another. No!
Home Biz Frustration - Some of the [so-called 'building'] methods I was taught included - handing out fliers - putting little yellow "stickers" in books at bookstores, and on bulletin boards in superstores and on pumps at the gas station - getting appointments in restaurants to "show the plan" - making tons of "cold calls" each day - sending out 'free samples' - etc, etc.. Hmmm...
Unprofessional - Coming from a professional background, these tactics didn't sit well with me - nor did the 3-foot rule - 'buying' leads - hotel meetings - sizzle cards - they all seemed cheesy, pushy and unprofessional. In my professional life, I have "never" gotten any new clients that way for my Financial / Business Consulting practice - they come to me because they are "attracted" to the value I offer them, thankfully.
So why should it really be any different for getting new business partners for my Network Marketing business? It shouldn't - unless we get stuck in the "rut" of [some of] the OLD school [stressful, pressurized] marketing methods that are the primary ones being taught today, unfortunately. Unless we begin to balance the NEW (Internet) ATTRACTION business model with the OLD strategies, we'll be left behind in the 'cloud of dust' produced by those who pass us by.
Failure - We suffered all the same failures that most do - and drove our credit card balances through the roof, trying to get ahead [by buying worthless Leads / Tools / Systems / Courses / eBooks / etc]. The reality is - we too, were being taught [wrong] marketing and business building strategies, by those who themselves didn't know any better - even including some of today's [so-called] biggest gurus! It wasn't until we learned of the "right" way to grow our businesses in this unique industry that things began to change for us - BIG time [we have some very "special" friends to thank for that].
Goal - My wife and I are both professionals - we also see the Home Business industry as a profession (especially InterNetwork Marketing). We are now - because of a totally NEW direction + advances in INTERNET education - building our Internet Home Businesses very successfully - and professionally. And in this current "economic slowdown", where many are hurting - this becomes critical. Our goal is to harness the talents of our exceptional TEAM of Consultants to help others enjoy this same benefit => that of 'real' Online Home Business OWNERSHIP, by mentoring and supporting them to learn, master and apply our outstanding 'Integrated' Business Marketing SYSTEM.

ATTRACTION MARKETING - As I mentioned on the Home Page, I'm thankful for leaders of the caliber of Joe Schroeder - Ann Sieg - Mike Dillard - Mike Klingler (and others) - all of whom teach the Online Attraction Marketing business model (along with the 'right' way to do Social Media Networking, PPC and SEO for building greater success in any Home Business. It embraces 21st century principles and strategies, and each of these professionals contribute many resources to provide the EDUCATION and SKILLS necessary.
